स्टॉक रडार: एसएंडपी बीएसई सेंसेक्स में आईटी स्टॉक 20% गिरने के बाद नीचे गिरने के संकेत दे रहा है:

शेयर ने 23 फरवरी को 1,696 रुपये के रिकॉर्ड उच्च स्तर को छुआ। यह दैनिक चार्ट पर महत्वपूर्ण अल्पकालिक और दीर्घकालिक मूविंग एवरेज से नीचे फिसल गया। यह एक संकेत था कि भालू नियंत्रण में थे। इसने मई में 1,300 रुपये के समर्थन स्तर का फिर से परीक्षण किया और वापस उछल गया।

आईटी प्रमुख एचसीएल टेक्नोलॉजीज ने अपने हालिया रिकॉर्ड उच्च स्तर से 20% से अधिक की गिरावट दर्ज की है, लेकिन स्टॉक अब नीचे गिरने के संकेत दे रहा है।

विशेषज्ञों ने सुझाव दिया कि उच्च जोखिम वाले अल्पकालिक व्यापारी 2-4 महीनों में 1,590 रुपये के लक्ष्य के लिए स्टॉक खरीदने पर विचार कर सकते हैं।

आईटी स्टॉक, जो एसएंडपी बीएसई सेंसेक्स सूचकांक का भी हिस्सा है, ने 23 फरवरी, 2024 को 1,696 रुपये के रिकॉर्ड उच्च स्तर को छुआ।

आईटी स्टॉक ने मई में फिर से 1,300 रुपये के समर्थन स्तर का फिर से परीक्षण किया और वापस उछल गया।  यदि गति जारी रहती है, तो एचसीएल टेक का शेयर अंततः 1,500 के स्तर को पार कर सकता है क्योंकि व्यापक आईटी स्टॉक भी वापसी के संकेत दे रहे हैं।

विदेशी निवेशक भारत के तेजी से बढ़ते शेयर बाजारों की अनदेखी कर रहे हैं:

भारत, जिसकी जीडीपी वृद्धि 2023-24 में 8% से अधिक होगी, सबसे तेजी से बढ़ने वाली प्रमुख अर्थव्यवस्था है। उभरते बाजारों में निवेशकों के लिए मॉर्गन स्टेनली और अन्य निवेश घरानों द्वारा अनुशंसित किए जाने के बावजूद, भारतीय शेयर बाजारों में विदेशी निवेश कम बना हुआ है।

भारत दुनिया की सबसे तेजी से बढ़ने वाली प्रमुख अर्थव्यवस्था है, जो वैश्विक अर्थव्यवस्था का इंजन है जो अमीर देशों सहित अन्य देशों को भी अपने साथ खींच रहा है। 2023-24 की पहली तीन तिमाहियों में इसकी जीडीपी वृद्धि औसतन 8% से अधिक रही है। मॉर्गन स्टेनली और अन्य निवेश घरानों ने घोषणा की है कि उभरते बाजारों में निवेशकों के लिए भारत सबसे अच्छी जगहों में से एक है। तो, हमारे शेयर बाजारों में अरबों डॉलर का प्रवाह होना चाहिए, है ना?

खैर, ऐसा नहीं हो रहा है। अगर हम 2022, 2023 और 2024 को आज तक लें, तो शुद्ध प्रवाह बहुत कम रहा है, शून्य के करीब।  2022 में निकासी के बाद 2023 में निवेश होगा। लेकिन 2024 में शुद्ध निकासी देखी गई है, जिसका मुख्य कारण मई में 3.5 बिलियन डॉलर का निवेश है (आंशिक रूप से आम चुनाव में भाजपा के खराब प्रदर्शन की अफवाहों के कारण)। बाजार अस्थिर हैं, कुछ महीनों में बड़ी मात्रा में निवेश हुआ है और अन्य महीनों में बड़ी मात्रा में निवेश हुआ है।

ऐतिहासिक रूप से, भारतीय बाजार विदेशी निवेश और निकासी के प्रति बहुत संवेदनशील रहे हैं। एक समय ऐसा था जब बाजार में मौजूद सभी फ्लोटिंग शेयरों में से आधे एफआईआई के पास थे। जब वे 1997-99 के एशियाई वित्तीय संकट में बाहर निकले, तो भारतीय बाजार धराशायी हो गए। डॉटकॉम बस्ट और अमेरिका में 9/11 के आतंकवादी हमलों के बाद भी यही हुआ। एफआईआई के सामूहिक रूप से बाहर न निकलने का एकमात्र कारण यह था कि कोई भारतीय खरीदार नहीं था।

बीस साल पहले, जब एफआईआई बाहर निकले तो भारतीय बाजार गिर गए। इसका मतलब था कि एफआईआई भारी जुर्माना चुकाए बिना एक सीमा से आगे नहीं निकल सकते थे।  लेकिन, आज घरेलू निवेशकों द्वारा प्रदान की गई बाजार लचीलापन का मतलब है कि एफआईआई भारी जुर्माना चुकाए बिना बाहर निकल सकते हैं, और कई ऐसा कर रहे हैं। एचडीएफसी बैंक और आईसीआईसीआई बैंक में विदेशी हिस्सेदारी कभी आरबीआई की 74% की सीमा के करीब थी। लेकिन आज यह क्रमशः 47% और 44% तक गिर गई है।

These largecaps have 'strong buy' & 'buy' recos and upside potential of more than 20%:

While it might be a bit early to say, but the way things have panned in the last couple of weeks, it is clear that bulls are not in any mood to leave the street. At the same time bears are also clear they will wait and on sidelines till election results. Two things one should remember at this point of intersection which rarely comes, that finally it is the business and the management which matters. Probably management of the large cap companies have that in abundance for two things, manage difficult times and by the end of the day grow.

Between, mid and large cap stocks has increased very sharply. So, while there is one side of the story which says that it is time to wait and watch, there is another side, in turbulent and uncertain times, the valuation matrix always favors large caps. Now look at the back of the envelope quantitative analysis. When markets are trading with strong bullish bias, some of the stocks tend to move off from the list of algorithm based stock buying lists. 

This includes even the best of long term wealth creators. But when the market corrects, a number of them come back and the total number of stocks also increases on the last. In the month of April and also in December 2023, the total number of stocks which were on this list had come down to as low as 5 to 6. But in the last few days of correction the number of stocks have increased sharply to 13.

 But this week again, the number of stocks are back to just 7. The stock of LIC was on the list for a long time and then we saw the stock gaining weight sharply in the last few months and it moved out the list and now once again coming back last week is once again back out of the list. On the list for a long time has been Indusind Bank, keep it on watch list for any sign of reversal.

5 mid cap stocks from different sectors with potential upside of up to 39%:

At this point of time when the street is juggling with its own fear and anxiety and waiting for the election results, the mid-caps segment of the market is witnessing some profit booking/rational shifting/ consolidation. A part of that is happening because of the fact that the street is reacting and adjusting to Q4 numbers. The way stocks are moving, there is no one trend in mid-cap space. So there are many sub segments which are getting formed in mid-cap space and given the mix of head and tailwinds.

Look at companies with a certain level of ROCE and whether the company' debt levels are low or not, whether the company has a track record of paying dividends.

Both these ratios and track record not only financial ratios but also to some extent show the ability of the management in handling the cycles which any business has to deal with and how ready is management to share the income which the business is generating.

Now comes the question of how to hedge the exposure which one has currently has in the mid-cap stocks. The simple thing one needs to do is to buy out of the money put option from the June series of Nifty, because weekly options close to the date of elections are expensive, it would be better to look at the out of money put options for monthly expiry. Calculate the value of the total mid-cap portfolio. So, if one has Rs 5 lakh worth of mid cap stocks, buy put options with Rs 15,000 which is 3% of the total portfolio values. Yes, this is money which may go down the drain. But then take it as an insurance premium for an event. But the fact is that if this money goes down the drain, more than would come in the form of gains which the total portfolio value would see when policy continuity gets stamped on the day of election.

Stock Radar:IT stock in S&P BSE Sensex is showing signs of bottoming out after falling 20%:

The stock hit a record high of Rs 1,696 on February 23. It slipped below crucial short- and long-term moving averages on the daily chart. This was a sign that bears were in control. It retested the support level of Rs 1,300 in May and bounced back.

IT major HCL Technologies has plunged over 20% from its recent record high but the stock is now showing signs of bottoming out.

Short-term traders with a high risk profile can look to buy the stock for a target of Rs 1,590 in 2-4 months, suggested experts.

The IT stock, also a part of the S&P BSE Sensex index, hit a record high of Rs 1,696 on February 23, 2024. 

The IT stock retested the support level of Rs 1,300 again in May and bounced back. If the momentum continues, HCL Tech stock could eventually surpass 1,500 levels as broader IT stocks are also showing signs of a rebound.

We are seeing early signs of short-term reversal in the IT index, after spending over a year in a corrective phase. Within the IT majors, we like HCL Tech for fresh accumulation," said Ajit Mishra - SVP, Research, Religare Broking Ltd.

Foreign investors neglecting India's booming stock markets,why:

India, with a GDP growth exceeding 8% in 2023-24, is the fastest-growing major economy. Despite being recommended by Morgan Stanley and other investment houses for investors in emerging markets, foreign investment in Indian stock markets remains low.

India is the fastest-growing major economy in the world, a locomotive of the global economy pulling along other countries, including rich ones. Its GDP growth has averaged more than 8% in the first three quarters of 2023-24. Morgan Stanley and other investment houses have declared that India is one of the best places for investors in emerging markets. So, billions of dollars should be flowing into our stock markets, right?

Well, it's not happening. If we take 2022, 2023 and 2024 to date, the net inflow has been very low, close to zero. An outflow in 2022 was followed by an inflow in 2023. But 2024 has seen a net outflow, largely on account of an exodus of $3.5 bn in May (partly caused by rumours of poor BJP performance in the general election). The markets are volatile, with some months seeing big inflows.and others big outflows.

Historically, Indian markets have been very sensitive to foreign inflows and outflows. Once, FIIs were said to own half the entire floating shares in the market. When they exited in the Asian financial crisis of 1997-99, Indian markets were pulverised. The same happened after the dotcom bust and 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US. The only reason FIIs didn't exit en masse was that there were no Indian buyers.

Twenty years ago, Indian markets crashed when FIIs exited. This meant FIIs could not exit beyond a point without paying a heavy penalty. But, today, market resilience provided by domestic investors means FIIs can exit without paying a steep penalty, and many are doing so. Foreign shareholding in HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank was once close to the RBI limit of 74%. But it's down today to 47% and 44% respectively.

स्टॉक रडार: क्रॉम्पटन ग्रीव्स में 30% की तेजी ने रेंज ब्रेकआउट दिया:

क्रॉम्पटन ग्रीव्स कंज्यूमर इलेक्ट्रिकल ने 254 रुपये से 338 रुपये तक की तेजी दिखाई। 1-2 महीनों में 480 रुपये का लक्ष्य। सकारात्मक गति के साथ 250-320 रेंज में समेकन। 480 के अपसाइड लक्ष्य और 360 के स्तर से नीचे स्टॉप लॉस के साथ मौजूदा स्तरों पर खरीदने की सलाह।

घरेलू उपकरण क्षेत्र का हिस्सा, क्रॉम्पटन ग्रीव्स, कंज्यूमर इलेक्ट्रिकल ने पिछले सप्ताह साप्ताहिक चार्ट पर समेकन रेंज से ब्रेकआउट दिया, जिससे स्टॉक के 400 के स्तर की ओर बढ़ने की गुंजाइश बन गई है।

 एसएमसी ग्लोबल सिक्योरिटीज के वरिष्ठ तकनीकी विश्लेषक शितिज गांधी ने कहा, "2021 से क्रॉम्पटन ग्रीव्स का शेयर मंदी के दौर में है और पिछले कुछ वर्षों में 500 के स्तर से 250 के स्तर तक महत्वपूर्ण गिरावट का अनुभव किया है।" उन्होंने कहा, "हाल ही में, शेयर लगभग 50% के सुधार के बाद समर्थन पाने में कामयाब रहा है और पिछले एक साल में 250-320 की व्यापक सीमा के भीतर समेकित हो रहा है।" खरीदारी की रुचि से प्रेरित होकर शेयर ने निचले स्तरों से उबरना शुरू कर दिया है, जिससे गति में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि हुई है। गांधी ने कहा, "कीमतें साप्ताहिक आधार पर अपने 200-दिवसीय घातीय चलती औसत से ऊपर चली गई हैं।"
