Stock Radar: Rainbow Children's Medicare hit fresh record high in February:

Short-term traders can look to buy the stock now for a bounce back towards the 1,500 level, suggested experts. Short-term traders can also play for a bounce back towards record highs and beyond, they maintained.

The stock hit a fresh record high of Rs 1,468 on February 19, 2024, but witnessed some profit- taking thereafter. However, the technical setup suggests that as long as the stock trades above 50- DMA, bulls should be able to make a comeback.

Rainbow Children's Medicare Ltd, a part of the hospital space, witnessed a swift bounce back after retesting 50- DMA or 50-Days' EMA on the daily chart, which pushed the stock to a fresh record high in February.

The hospital stock witnessed a meaningful recovery after testing 50-DMA on the daily chart, which helped it breach the 10th January swing high and hit a fresh record high.

In terms of price action, the stock is now trading below the 5-DMA but above 10,30,50,100 and 200-DMA on the daily charts. 

"Rainbow Children's Medicare stock has been in an ascending trend rising gradually and recently taken support near the important 50-Days EMA level of 1,185," said Vaishali Parekh, Vice President - Technical Research, Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt. Ltd.

Once again on wednesday, there was minor correction in nifty, but more tremors were felt in the mid-cap part of the market. While it might be too early to call it even a corrective move, because this could be due to profit booking just before the expiry of the weekly option contract today. While there are many ways to play the theme of industrial recovery, there is a set of companies, who don't come into headlines very often but a very high correlation between how the economy as whole is doing and a sector in particular. So while steel companies may come into news because of what happens to commodity prices and China, but the companies, which supply consumables like refractory material to them, don't come into the headlines. 

So for companies which are into supplying industrial consumables it is not an easy task. However there is an advantage to it also. Once the supply contract is settled, buyers also don't disturb their relationship with suppliers. The reason is, no company wants to disturb its supply chain matrix. The fortunes of these industrial consumable companies are dependent on what is happening in the mother industry in which they supply goods. So when steel prices are booming the companies supplying graphite electrodes to steel companies which make steel through the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) route tend to see better time.

Whenever there is any demand for any institutional investors, they tend to spike. But there is a disadvantage of low floating stock, a bit selling can do more than ordinary damage to stock price. Also, another risk of investing in these companies is that if there is slow down in the mother industry, their top and bottomline gets impacted and in some cases just stagnates, as it did for many years between 2010 to 2017. Here again the shareholding comes into play, because of the low floating stock.

Probably the debate on valuations is over or even if it is taking place, the majority has accepted that yes valuations are high but at the same time liquidity is also high which is ensuring that the street is under the control of bulls. Now there is enough historical evidence to show that valuations matter and justifications don't stand the test of time. 

While there can hardly be any debate about the fact that valuations across market segments are high. आरई की घरेलू बिक्री की मात्रा की वृद्धि हुई 16% करने के लिए साल - दर-साल 6,30,273 हीरो-हार्ले और बजाज ट्रायम्फ द्वारा शुरू की नई बाइक के बावजूद चालू वित्त वर्ष के पहले नौ महीनों में इकाइयों. कंपनी की सबसे ज्यादा बिकने वाली बाइक आरई क्लासिक 350 बाइक की तिमाही रन रेट 80,180 यूनिट्स रही, जो एक साल पहले की तुलना में इस अवधि में 78,974 यूनिट्स थी ।  यह सुझाव देता है कि प्रतियोगिता द्वारा शुरू की गई नई बाइक ने एक मजबूत मताधिकार के कारण आरई की प्रीमियम बाइक के लिए पता योग्य बाजार का विस्तार किया है ।
